Captions from SRT and VTT files

If you have a subtitle file in SRT or VTT format, Kaptcho can turn it into captions.

Import

1. Open Captions and choose Import subtitle file.
2. Pick your .srt or .vtt file.
3. Each line becomes a caption on the timeline at the right time.

Style them all at once

Select the captions track and change the font, size, colour and background. Everything updates together. Place the captions where you want them in the viewer.

Fixing the words and timing

Double-click a caption to edit its text. Drag its ends to change when it appears and goes.

Out of time?

If the whole file is early or late, select all captions and drag them along the timeline together.

Export

Captions are drawn into the video when you export, so they show on every network.
