End user licence agreement
Last updated 7 October 2026Kaptcho is made and run by Svayam Incarnation Limited trading as SINC Developers ("SINC Developers", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 15228262. Our registered office is 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, England.
This agreement is between you and SINC Developers. It covers the Kaptcho application and the programs that come with it (the "software").
What you may do
While your subscription is active, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the software on up to 2 computers that you own or control, and to use it on 1 of them at a time. You may use it for personal and commercial video work.
What you may not do
- Copy, sell, rent, lend or share the software, other than as this agreement allows.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or take apart the software, except where the law gives you that right regardless of this agreement, or where an open-source licence says otherwise for its own parts.
- Remove or hide copyright or licence notices.
- Get round the licence or device checks.
Ownership
SINC Developers owns the software. This agreement gives you the right to use it, not to own it. Open-source components included in the software remain under their own licences, listed in Third-party notices.
Your content
Content you create or edit with the software stays yours.
Updates
We may offer updates. Updates are covered by this agreement unless they come with new terms.
Unsigned builds
At the moment the installers are not code-signed. We are setting up the developer accounts needed to sign them. You install and run unsigned builds at your own choice, and the download page explains how.
Warranty and liability
The software is provided as it is. Except where the law does not allow it, we give no promise that it is free of errors or fit for a particular purpose. Our liability is as set out in the terms of service.
Ending the licence
The licence ends when your subscription ends or if you break this agreement. When it ends, you should stop using the software and may uninstall it. Your projects and media remain yours.
Law
This agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales.
