Kaptcho will not open on Windows

Kaptcho is not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may show a blue notice. Signing is coming soon.

Run it anyway

1. When the notice says "Windows protected your PC", choose More info.
2. Choose Run anyway.

If there is no Run anyway button

Right-click the downloaded file, choose Properties and tick Unblock near the bottom, then choose OK and open it again.

It starts, then closes

• Check you have Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.
• Install the latest Windows updates.
• Update your graphics driver.
• Try running the installer again and choose Repair if offered.

Security software

Some security software holds back apps it does not know yet. Allow Kaptcho in your security software, or ask it to check the file again.
